I started reading books when I was little. My favourite comics are ‘Calvin and Hobbes,’ ‘Tintin’ and ‘Asterix and Obelix.’ I really enjoy reading all my books in my bookshelf.

Let me talk about one of my favourite books about brave women all over the world. ‘Good Night Stories For Rebel Girls’ is the real life stories of 100 courageous women who believed that nothing is impossible. My mother and father gifted this book to me when I was in the third standard.

There are four volumes of this book. The first book was published in 2016. It is sold over 1 million copies and is translated to 47 languages. The second volume came out in 2017, the third volume in 2020. The fourth volume will be published in October 2021. The authors of these amazing books are Elena Favilli and Francesca Cavallo.

The first volume features many women activists, freedom fighters, queens, writers and other talented women. There are beautiful illustrations of Cleopatra, Elizabeth I, Florence Nightingale, Rani Lakshmi Bai, Malala Yousafzai… This is a beautiful book that will inspire you.
